Dr. Jeannie Doig, ND

     Dr. Jeannie Doig received her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from the University of Toronto and her graduate ND degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Doig moved to the West coast to service the Port Alberni, Ucluelet, and Tofino areas. A surfer, yoga instructor, and triathlete, Dr. Doig enjoys the West Coast lifestyle.

     Dr. Doig focuses her family practice on optimizing health through nutrition (food sensitivity testing, yeast testing), hormone balancing (salivary hormone testing, bio- identical hormones), acupuncture, and Bowen Therapy (www.bowtech.com). Dr. Doig treats virtually any condition by addressing the root "cause" of disease rather than simply masking and reducing symptoms.  She specializes in treating weight management, hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, and fatigue.

     Dr. Doig is a promoter of patient education and preventative medicine. She has a monthly health column in the Port Alberni AV times and the Westerly newspaper.  She also conducts seminars on weight management and nutrition for the West Coast communities. She regularly updates her education by attending naturopathic seminars throughout North America.
