Ethical Bean Coffee

Ethical Bean Coffee is a producer of Fairtrade certified Organic coffee located in Vancouver, BC. They are carbon neutral and work to repurpose items from their facility, such as thousands of burlap sacks which are donated to charity each year and reused for anything from grooming horses to gardening. Ethical Bean measured their baseline inventory for their 2010 fiscal year. They are working to reduce these emissions by implementing a paper reduction program, using a vehicle performance and maintenance log to maximize vehicle efficiency, decreasing air travel by using teleconferencing more frequently and ensuring that all unused equipment is turned off and unplugged.
