Clayburn Village Community Society

The Clayburn Village Community Society is the successor to the Clayburn Athletic Society which was originally established in 1917 to promote community spirit with recreational, cultural and athletic endeavors. These objectives have expanded to include promoting the educational value of local history and encouraging the preservation of heritage sites. They measured their baseline emissions inventory for their 2010 fiscal year. The Clayburn Village Community Society is working to reduce its emissions by installing energy efficient lighting, adjusting heat in unused areas, increasing furnace maintenance, reducing paper use and informing residents of available energy efficient technology.
