Wagner Horse Doc, LLC

Service Provider in Raymore, Missouri

As Dr. Wagner was raised on a livestock and row crop farm in west-central Missouri, farm life cemented a desire in him to help the horse, which he grew up with, and the people who own them. He is a 1989 honors graduate from the University of Missouri-College of Veterinary Medicine in Columbia Missouri, which, when combined with his continued search for knowledge and answers has to lead him to also obtain certification in Animal Chiropractic, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine-Acupuncture, and training in Applied Kinesiology. His philosophy of treatment is to evaluate the whole horse not just the mechanistic, single-issue evaluation as promoted in Traditional Western Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, Missouri, and American Veterinary Medical Associations, along with the International and American Veterinary Chiropractic Associations.

Through these organizations, he has served on numerous boards in regards to client and veterinary education. As part of the Veterinarian-Farrier Liaison Committee, he lectured to veterinary students on the horse foot. Due to his love of educating, he has also given lectures to clients and veterinary students on numerous veterinary topics including Chiropractic and Acupuncture Care and is a member of the Lab Instructor Faculty at Options for Animals Chiropractic College. Along with being an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church; he enjoys the outdoors by gardening, hiking, hunting, and fishing. Married to his wife Joyce in 1992, they are raising and training two children.
