Fine craftsmanship is a legacy in the Puga family. Family pride for fine woodworking and carpentry goes back three generations. Owner and operator Tobias Puga is personally responsible for every project, from sourcing the finest materials through to project completion. Vision Built has unique experience completing challenging projects in remote locations on the Gulf Islands, including Bowen Island—the original home of the Puga family. At Vision Built, we know excellent team work is crucial to completing quality projects smoothly. Every member of the hand-picked Vision Built team of 10 is a well rounded, experienced, and talented craftsman. On days off, the team may be found on team building adventures sponsored by the company, such as extreme wilderness races on Whistler Mountain. Friendly and hardworking, it isn’t hard to have this team around. All of our employees are WorkSafeBC bonded and insured. We are committed to using environmentally friendly construction practices and products as we build energy efficient homes with healthy indoor air quality, reduced pollution and water usage. In 2010, we completed a ‘Platinum’ rated house under the Built Green BC program—the highest certification in the program. In 2011, we spearheaded lobbying Vancouver city hall to change a by-law regarding rain water collection. This initiative allowed us to fulfill our client’s vision for a unique rain harvest collection system and open doors for greener building practices. We source environmentally friendly materials from sustainable sources to ensure the health of our employees and the health of your home. We recycle on-site and redirect wood and metal scraps destined for the landfill. Vision Built is committed to building a better, cleaner world, one house at a time.
