Fortwood homes was started in 1972 by Tony Rebelo Sr. Since then, Fortwood Homes has continued to grow and build quality affordable homes in Prince George. Today, Tony Sr., along with his children, operate the family business and the children follow their father's tradition of building quality homes. We, at Fortwood Homes, believes that to just build a house someone can live in, is not good enough. To live up to the good name that our father earned, the children have to continue to go that extra mile. The workmanship must be of the highest standard and Fortwood Homes stands behinds it warranty. Alongside building quality homes, Fortwood Homes has also developed several subdivisions in Prince George, namely O'Grady Road in College Heights; a bare land strata gated community called Ospika Landing at the corner of Ospika Boulevard and Otway Road; and Heritage North Phase II, which consists of Rebelo Drive and Ryser Avenue. Presently, Fortwood Homes is developing the Fraser River Benchlands in lower College Heights. This is our biggest project to date and our vision is to develop a lasting legacy with several phases of affordable, high quality homes with the "Smart Growth" concept with extensive park and greenspace, including a riverfront phase. In addition to building quality homes and land developing throughout Prince George, Fortwood Homes also has an extensive residential rental portfolio. The majority of these rental complexes, from apartment buildings to townhouses, have been built by Fortwood Homes.
