Econ Group Construction and Development Ltd. is a North Vancouver-based, medium sized design-build firm in its 16th year of business. Our in-house design team is European trained and our core building crews are great at what they do. We believe that the backbone of any successful project is excellent, friendly communication and superior listening skills. We design and build modern, energy efficient homes, and have been building to the Passive House standard for a decade (longer than any builder in the Lower Mainland). We also consult and educate within our industry, to government, and to public at large as to the proven performance benefits of Passive House theory and its correct application. Passive Houses consume up to 90% less energy used within a home built to Vancouver code. With the list of municipalities committing to greener practices and even carbon-neutrality, we see Passive as being the easiest and smartest platform for achieving a Net Zero future. And frankly we really love working with clients who are thinking forward.
