Arbutus Point Developments Ltd. has been in business for over 20 years. In 1993, Jamieson Merritt founded Arbutus Point Developments after graduating from UBC with a Commerce and Law degree. Rather than pursuing a career as a corporate lawyer, Jamieson followed his passion for creating new structures and working with interesting people. Over the last two decades, Jamieson has developed a reputation built on trust and has fostered many lasting relationships. Word of mouth from happy clients has enabled Arbutus Point to grow into a prominent home-building company. Today, Arbutus Point mainly builds custom dream homes near its base in West Vancouver, as well as the surrounding areas of both North Vancouver and Vancouver. With energy efficiency and a healthy environmental as some of our goals, Arbutus Point Developments Ltd. has been certified as a registered “BUILT GREEN” builder and is a member of the Greater Vancouver Homebuilders Association. We carry $5mm commercial liability coverage and offer National New Home Warranty Insurance on all of our builds.
