MPECO Fabrication, Inc.

Founded in Sherbrooke in 1996 by Raymond Bernier and two employees, MPECO (M_canique de Proc_d_ €cologique) started assembling pumping stations in several cities across the province of Qu_bec. The expertise acquired in water treatment process engineering began with the assembly of an ActifloTM mobile unit for John Meunier inc., member of the Veolia Water group. In 1997, MPECO carried out its first full-scale project for the Town of Saint-Lambert, which consisted of the installation of two ActifloTM clarification units. In 2000, MPECO diversified its fields of expertise when it began producing and assembling piping and miscellaneous metal products. Facing an increasing demand and a significant growth, the company then made the acquisition of an industrial building located at 1080 Galt Street East in Sherbrooke, Qu_bec, Canada where both the administrative center and manufacturing plant are still operating. In 2010, following a strong demand, the company doubled the size of both offices and plant. In 2010, armed with ever-growing expertise, MPECO opened a division in Western Canada in Calgary, Alberta in order to serve its clients and position itself in their development and ensure a presence in the petrochemical markets. Throughout the years, MPECO has diversified while maintaining state-of-the-art technology in manufacturing, assembly, installation, maintenance and modification of systems and components related to drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment, desalination of sea water, flood control ( stop logs) and hydro turbine installation. From the dedication of a contractor who believed in water treatment and quality for future generations, the founderês third generation is now involved in MPECO. The company now employs over 200 employees across Canada and on missions abroad. MPECO is in constant evolution in its quest to become the world leader in process engineering installations while abiding by its motto: "Being the best in meeting costs and delivery deadlines".
