My experience in family law consists of more than 18 years of work in this area of the law. My firm handles, divorces, child custody matters, termination and establishment of parental rights, adoptions, name changes, child support issues, modifications of orders and protective orders and division of marital assets.

We also handle wills, probate, and powers of attorney. In the area of criminal law, we handle administrative expunctions, misdemeanor, dwi, drug charges, assaults, family violence cases, and felonies.

I think that what makes this firm different from other family law firms is that family cases often cross over into the criminal realm. Because of my criminal law experience, we are able to protect our clients and to make sure that our clients do not admit to things on the stand in family court that could be devastating to their criminal case.

Once a divorce is completed, we give our clients sound legal advice regarding the drafting of a new will and probate matters. We also guide our clients through setting up guardianships in wills for their minor children, and we help our clients establish powers of attorney should they be needed in the future.

We take the time to carefully listen to your case so that we understand all the facts pertaining to your case so we can make sure that you are fully protected.
