I’m Paula Rosenthal, founder, and owner of Favorite Gift Baskets. We’re a family-owned business located in the heart of Long Island, New York, a place that was once nothing but potato fields. Now, it’s populated by thousands of small business owners, people, like me, who have a dream of creating something special, a business that will give its customers the best quality products and deliver exceptional customer service. For two years, we have proudly been doing just that.

Both of my grandfathers founded businesses on Long Island many years ago. I grew up learning about dedication and hard work from them. One of those companies still stands today, a true testament to the importance of being the best in your field. At a young age, I also learned how important it is to pay attention to every detail. From sourcing and choosing the best quality products, to properly marketing your business, and most importantly, taking great care of your customers, owning a company is no easy task. For me, being a business owner means long hours of hard work, often long after everyone else has quit for the day.

Even so, I still make time for life’s simple pleasures, spending time with family and friends, and expressing care and gratitude to those who are important to me. I believe one of the best ways to show genuine care is by sending personalized and handcrafted gifts. It is this belief that inspired me to create my gift basket company.
