Connecticut Sustainable Business Council (CTSBC) is a non-profit organization bringing the stateÕs diverse sustainable business leaders, corporate social responsibility and EH&S professionals, social entrepreneurs and impact investors together to share best practices, connect to resources, and collaborate for mutual benefit. Our Vision: The Connecticut business community is connected and engaged in advancing sustainability, economic equality, high road business practices, and resiliency across industry sectors and county lines. Our Mission: Our mission is to engage and educate a cross sector business community in creating a sustainable economy in Connecticut. We fulfill our mission by providing opportunities for Connecticut business leaders to connect and to share best practices and to identify ways to collaborate and to deepen leadership in social, economic & environmental performance. Sustainability is the ability to continue a defined behavior indefinitely. In the context of business, it often refers to the triple bottom line Ð or companies managing financial, social and environmental risks, obligations and opportunities.
