Analog Modern

In 2009, the love of making furniture brought me to Brooklyn. That and an incredible lady who eventually married me. We now have a daughter that even loves to tinker in the studio. More than a few tufts of grey hair and three progressively bigger shops in seven short years, we present to you our product and process. Analog Modern is a multidisciplinary studio primarily working in furniture, but we've designed retail spaces, built treehouses, dabbled in table top product design, and even made quilts. Our clients include Google, Etsy, Gensler, Helmut Lang, Theory, Miansai, Illesteva, Calvin Klein, Amy Lau Design, MGM Grand, and whole slew of nice New Yorkers. We are one of a handful of Forest Stewardship Council¨ (FSC¨ C125400) certified designers and manufacturers in New York. We strive to use a palette of hardwoods local to the Northeast and default to no-VOC hand-applied finishes. A number of our products have gone through a transparency audit and now have Declare labels from the Living Futures Institute (like LEED, but way more stringent).
