Offline Solar Electric

Brooke Hanner has been involved in the electrical industry for over 30 years, and he started his successful contracting firm in 1990 in Oceanside, California. Brooke shares his predecessorÕs enthusiasm for solar living and energy independence, and last year he and his wife, Karen, returned to Mariposa County to begin living in the sun-powered home that Brooke designed and built with an off-grid PV system that Brooke designed and installed. ÒItÕs a great feeling to know that we are producing our own power, that we are more energy efficient than ever,Ó says Karen. A few months back, one of the HannerÕs friends suggested that Brooke meet the local, solar company owner who had built her off-grid system. Consequently, several energetic and fruitful discussions ensued over at the North Fork offices of Offline Solar. The result of those meetings, Brooke Hanner became the new owner of Offline Solar. He hopes to continue the company tradition of locally-owned and respected business leadership, where each grid-tie or offline project is designed to suit each customerÕs unique needs.
