APG was inducted into the National Environmental Hall of Fame as well as the Atwater Environmental Hall of Fame in October of 2010. Alternative Power Generation, Inc., dba APG Solar, is a full-spectrum alternative energy generation provider. Brent Jerner opened the doors in December, 2004, and the company has seen steady growth in each of the seven ensuing years under Brent's ownership and management. Even in the current difficult economic climate, APG is financially solid, remains debt-free and is profitable. APGÕs primary focus has been sales, design, installation, maintenence and service of grid tied PhotoVoltaic ( PV ) systems for industrial, agricultural, commercial, and residential applications. APG holds California State Contractors license #859901 B General, speciality C-10 ( electrical ), and C-46 ( solar ). Brent Jerner participates in the invitation-only California State License Board C-46 series of workshops to facilitate the re-writing of the State of California specialty solar license test. APG has a very good working relationship with the various ( AHJs authorities having jurisdiction )local City & County Departments of Building and Safety. APG has conducted several training seminars, including PowerPoint presentations concerning code compliant solar electric generation installations for local building and safety inspectors.
