Border View Electric, Ltd.

Border View Electric was founded in 1988 by partners Jake Dyck and Stan Wall. They began in a small rented space on Main Street, two electricians with 10 years of experience each. Their policy of Òno job is too small or too bigÓ helped them establish their business. They soon hired their first employee and moved to a larger rented space. In 1996 they built their own shop, giving them 4,000 square feet of space at their present location on Manitoba Road. They are also planning a new 1,000 square foot renovation. Border View Electric has been involved in construction of places like Meridian (five plants), Access Credit Union, Jordan Mills, BDO, General Metal, Co-op Truck Stop, Manitoba Hydro Customer Service Centre, Winkler Library and Janzen GM. TheyÕve also helped build churches like the EMM, Emmanuel, Winkler Mennonite, Baptist and Glencross.
