Rick Bergmann was born in Morden and began apprenticeship in the trade in Morden in 1975. All of RickÕs apprentice hours were spent in service and construction within the mechanical field in the commercial, industrial and institutional sector within southern Manitoba. Bergmann Plumbing and Heating, Ltd. was founded in 1983. Our focus is in the specialty work of design build: Refrigeration, Controls, Ventilation, Boilers, Chillers, etc. Our bid-spec projects and customers are numerous after over 30 years in the business. We have trained and qualified technicians who are able to service and repair any of your HVAC and plumbing needs. One of our most interesting projects to date is in the containment labs at the Morden Agriculture & Agrifood Research Station. Numerous on-site projects included retrofitting the sewage lift station, steam/hydronic boiler work, greenhouse heating and ventilation, controlled climate growth rooms, grey water projects, reverse osmosis work, chilled water work, and air conditioner installation. Each staff member performs tasks of troubleshooting, repair and construction. We aim for perfection and go to the furthest extent to meet the needs of our customers. We have staff who have their Gas Fitter A Ticket qualification that we are licensed to install or service gas burning equipment over 400,000 BTU (larger commercial gas burning equipment). Our staff and their families are residents and community members of southern Manitoba. All of our staff are long-term, hometown, career-focused people.
