Sand Lake Marine

Sand Lake Marine was founded in June 1969 by Hugh and Etta Glover. We are located on the beautiful and serene Sand Lake approximately one kilometer above Jones Falls, on the Rideau Canal. Founded on the principles of prompt and reliable service, Sand Lake Marine has a 35+ year history of offering quality, experienced service. The family owned and operated business has continued this tradition through the years and has improved and expanded to meet the ongoing changes occurring in the marine industry. The marina is currently owned and operated by Etta and son David. David, a licensed Mercury Marine mechanic, became part owner in 1988 and is currently manager. after the passing of Hugh in the summer of 2000. Daughter's Lisa and Dianne joined the staff full time in 1994 and 2000 respectively. Justin, son of Dianne, joined the staff full time in 2003 and is also a licensed Mercury Marine mechanic.
