Oakville Harbours Marina
Service Provider in Oakville, Ontario
OakvilleĆs extensive Lake Ontario shoreline includes two harbours: Bronte Harbour on Bronte Creek and Oakville Harbour on Sixteen Mile Creek near the downtown core. The harbours are owned by the town and operated by the Parks and Open Space department. These natural harbours accommodate several hundred sail and power boats as well as recreational facilities. Mooring docks and slips are available for rent on a seasonal basis, and launching ramps are provided in both harbours for transient boaters. The main docks in both harbours are six-feet wide, fully serviced finger docks with Mediterranean-type moorings. Charges are based on the running length of the boat. Harbours staff provide water, electrical services, haul-out services, and mast stepping and unstepping. Operating, maintenance and capital improvements are funded from fees charged to boaters.
