New Britain Palm Oil Limited (NBPOL) is a large scale integrated, industrial producer of sustainable palm oil in Australasia. We have over 82,000 hectares of planted oil palm plantations, 5,700 hectares of sugar cane and a further 9,000 hectares of grazing pasture; twelve oil mills; two refineries, one in PNG, and one in Liverpool, UK, as well as a seed production and plant breeding facility. NBPOL is fully vertically integrated, producing its own seed (which are sold globally) and planting, cultivating and harvesting our own land and processing and refining palm oil, in both PNG and the UK. We contract directly with our end customers in the EU and arranges shipping of our products. Our company headquarters are in West New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea. Since March 2015, we have been a wholly owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Plantation Sdn Bhd.
