Keck Seng (Malaysia) Berhad (KSMB) is part of Keck Seng Group and is a public listed company with the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange since 1976. KSMB is involved in properties development, golf and holiday resorts development, plantation and palm oil processing activities. Our Masai Palm Oil Mill / Refinery which is wholly own by KSMB is one of the most well-integrated complex in Malaysia, comprising a palm oil mill, a kernel crushing plant, a palm oil refinery and specialty fats plants situated in an oil palm estate, which is about 20 kilometers from the Pasir Gudang Port. The refinery has well designed plants and capable of producing a wide range of niche products. Ragamo Sdn. Bhd., one of the subsidiary companies of KSMB, started the kernel crushing process since 1985. Supervitamins Sdn. Bhd., another subsidiary company of KSMB, started its operation in year 2000 within the integrated complex to recover natural carotene, tocotrienols and tocopherol based on patented process and highly controlled conditions to supply high quality and innovative nutraceutical and oleochemical products to many essential markets. The palm oil complex is very efficient in energy utilization. Excess energy from the palm oil mill is channeled to the refinery and Supervitamins. Methane is harnessed from anaerobic effluent treatment and fully utilized as fuel for boilers in the refinery. The Masai Palm Oil Mill fully utilizes all by-products such as fiber, shell, empty bunches and boiler clinkers reflecting further the company efforts in areas of environmental and energy conservation.
