Responsible Tourism is a policy that Glorious Himalaya follows wherever it operates. Under this policy comes respecting the culture and traditions of the ethnic and non-ethnic groups and preserving the beauty of nature that existed before the arrival of the first human being. This policy is not only followed in Nepal but also in America. For Nepal, it is the most important because most of her economy generates from the tourists that come from the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and some parts of Europe. Generating economics also means creating employment. It not only focuses on this, but also on the development of the tourism sector by being an initiative and by improving the standards of trekking, rafting, bungee jumping, mountain flight, wildlife safari, and sightseeing at an international level.

Therefore, Responsible Tourism is an asset to Glorious Himalaya, and she also follows the norms and guidelines laid down by the International Porter Protection Group (IPPG). Some of the Responsible Tourism that Glorious Himalaya follows are given below.

Environmental Responsibility:

• We use cooking gas during treks.
• We don’t litter the trekking trails and mountains. Our Camping staff and Camping groups clean up the camping grounds after their stay.
• We only employ the local people in the areas we trek to.
