Hillyard Industries, Inc.

When N.S. Hillyard came to St. Joseph, Missouri in 1891, he worked by day to support his growing family and labored nights to invent new, innovative products to serve the maintenance industry. In 1907, despite the fact the country was in a depression, N.S. left his job to start the first of the Hillyard Companies.
