DSI was established by John P. DeMent and David A. Stephens in Athens, GA in January of 2004. Our vision was to establish a small, profitable construction company by developing a solid reputation through offering low overhead costs, experienced personnel, and commitment to client satisfaction on every project. The fulfillment of this vision provided us with a stable foundation and a formula for our successful venture into the construction management and design-build realm. Our company's continued growth has been made possible by our ability to estimate, manage and select projects appropriate to our size and ability. In addition, we pride ourselves in not having any litigation experience with our clients, architects, or sub-contractors. This proven track record results in increased bonding and banking confidence that supports our development.
