Queen City Angels

Queen City Angels is the longest running organized angel group in the entire region. Among or investors are numerous business leaders from the greater Cincinnati area, including many former CEOs and founders of successful companies. We are eager to apply our talents and expertise to mentoring and coaching, as well as funding the right ventures. We are committed to providing ongoing guidance to our portfolio companies, including assisting with business development, strategic planning, capital raising, management team building. The search for capital can be daunting for today’s entrepreneurs. Many young companies find that they have exhausted “friends and family” contributions, and that it’s too early to pursue venture capital. QCA simplifies this search while providing early stage funding to innovative emerging businesses. We meet regularly to review business plans submitted by entrepreneurs, taking time to talk with company principals, invite formal presentations and fully evaluate the investment opportunities. Each venture is collectively screened and investigated, but each of our members makes individual investment decisions. If a deal attracts significant interest, we will work through a due diligence phase and initiate negotiations with the entrepreneurs and/or company principles.
