The Emergent Growth Funds are member-managed angel funds that share the same focus on early stage companies. The current funds concentrate their activities on companies that are developing unique, leading-edge products, or proprietary technologies that possess the potential for rapid growth in significant markets. The members of the Emergent Growth funds are successful business people and investors with demonstrated successes in building companies and selecting investments. They represent a mixture of backgrounds and experience which is critical in conducting our due diligence. The premier fund, Emergent Growth Fund, LLC is currently fully invested in its Portfolio Companies. The succeeding fund, Emergent Growth Fund II, LLC, was founded to continue the momentum of investing in and supporting new companies following the successful completion of the first fund. Emergent's mission is to facilitate the early development of promising new technologies that will succeed in the marketplace and thereby to enhance the wealth of our members through the success and growth of the companies in which we invest. We believe that partnering with our portfolio companies and contributing not only funding but member expertise adds value to the companies and increases their chances of success.
