Through the ELCA Pension and Other Benefits Program, Portico strives to empower members to live well for life physically, financially, and emotionally. By living well as whole people of God, we can better enhance the lives of others doing God's work in Christ's name for the sake of the world. Portico Benefit Services provides retirement, health and related benefits and services to enhance the well-being of those who serve through the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and other faith-based organizations. For more than 25 years, foundational principles have helped Portico design a single, bundled ELCA benefit program that reflects and aligns with church values. The ELCA Philosophy of Benefits articulates these principles and affirms the importance of benefits to the health and wellness of this whole church.
