Cosmark was founded in 1988 by Bill East, whose experience in the fields of cosmetic raw materials, fragrances and flavours had, at that stage, spanned some eighteen years and included employment with Monsanto, Bronson & Jacobs, Haarmann & Reimer and PPF/Unilever. Matt East has been in the Cosmetic and Aromatic Industry since 1996. He was appointed Executive Director of Cosmark in 2007. Matt’s vision for the Company includes diversification into new product areas, with particular emphasis on the expanding market for certified organic raw materials. With Bill now retired, Matt has chosen to further develop the Cosmark brand, renaming it Cosmark Aromatics in 2015 to more closely reflect the core offerings of the business. The name has changed, but the same great products, knowledge and service remain. In keeping with being a family owned and operated business, Sarah East joined the company in 2021, bringing design and marketing skills from her many years in the design industry. Her role within Cosmark Aromatics includes brand development, as well as accounts and administrative management.
