As the former Executive Director of the Northcoast Regional Land Trust, she negotiated several large working ranch conservation easements and acquisitions emphasizing the need to protect our rural culture of sustainable ranching and timber while also preserving fish and wildlife habitats that make our area so special. In addition to her career, Maya enjoys her time training her dogs, growing a garden and living off the grid. She also loves hiking throughout the North Coast and spending time exploring our local rivers.
