John LaRocca - Phoenix Commercial Properties, Inc.

John has been serving commercial property clients throughout the Triangle Region for over eighteen years. Originally from Syracuse, New York, John began his real estate career with a local development /brokerage firm. He joined Grubb & Ellis|Thomas Linderman Graham in 1997 and over the years helped build the company as a Senior Vice President Principal/Partner and served on the company's Board of Advisers. He left to form Phoenix Commercial Properties, Inc. in 2011. With a diverse background in several types of commercial real estate transactions and consulting; John is able to serve tenants, landlords, buyers and sellers in office, industrial, land and specialized build-to-suit projects. Primarily serving the Greater Raleigh-Durham markets, John is licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia and routinely completes transactions both nationally and internationally for his corporate clientele. John has served as President of the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors, Chairman of the North Carolina Realtors Commercial Alliance and as a member of the Board of Governors for the National Association of Realtors. John is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), a Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) EcoBroker Certified®, a Notary Public and has earned the Masters in Commercial Properties designation (MICP). Locally, John serves on the Board of Directors for Occoneechee Council, Boy Scouts of America as the Vice President of Development and as a National Representative for the council.
