Chef-owned north 48 specializes in Modern Diner cuisine that both celebrates and elevates classic dishes and menu items from around the world. Modern techniques and premium ingredients are incorporated into each dish, which are inspired from North American diners, Belgian bistros, Japanese izakayas, and everywhere in between. The name north 48 comes from Victoria, BCs position in latitude, paying homage to the citys long history of a good, comfortable meal upon arrival at a new destination. Everything on our menu is made in house. We make our product choices as local, seasonal, and sustainable as possible. You will experience many familiar flavours in dishes prepared and presented in new and exciting ways. We hope you enjoy revisiting some old childhood favourites, all grown up.
