Fair Bean Coffee

At Fair Bean we believe in building sustainable relationships with each and every one of our stakeholders, including Coffee producers and co-ops from around the world. We believe in Fair Trade, either through official certification of the Coffees we buy, or through our own direct verification of measurable improvements in the living and working conditions of the farmers that care for the coffee we buy. We believe that improving the working and living conditions of Coffee farmers around the world has a direct effect in the quality of the Coffee our customers will drink. Fair Trade aims to break the cycle of poverty that often exists in coffee producing regions. To become Fair Trade certified, an importer must meet stringent international criteria including, procuring green coffee from small farmer organizations (farms, co-ops), pay a fixed premium above the prevailing market price, and provide much needed credit to farmers. This commitment is what's behind our 'Drink Coffee Responsibly' motto. We believe it makes for a richer cup of coffee.
