Founded in Singapore in 1999, Red Pod has grown into a multi-national company with presence in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Shanghai, China as well as in San Francisco, USA. Polyesters play a predominant role as biodegradable plastics due to their potentially hydrolysable ester bonds. the polyester family is made of two major groups - aliphatic (linear) polyesters and aromatic (aromatic rings) polyesters.
