Founded in 1972 as a tiny storefront operation, we are now one of the biggest and most respected specialty coffee roasters in the nation. But no matter how big we grow, we’ll never forget our roots. It is the one-on-one relationships with the people who buy, sell, and drink our coffee that matter most. We love where we work and we want to help keep the environment and our community healthy. That’s why an integral part of our process incorporates sustainability. Our plant is LEED® Silver Certified, and all of our coffee is roasted using 100% renewable energy credits. And, of course, you can’t live in the Pac Northwest without recognizing those employees who choose to bicycle to work. Our employees also contribute to our sustainability program by submitting suggestions about ways we can recycle or re-use our coffee bags, pallets and other supplies.
