We were born and raised in Austin since 1971. We’re not just Austin-inspired. We are Austin. And we needed a name that no one would soon forget.

Schlotzsky’s first opened a small shop on South Congress, where we introduced The Original, served on the same toasted, house-made sourdough that we serve today. And if we ran out of bread that day, we closed our doors because we cared as much about freshness then as we do now. If you can believe it, we served that sandwich on a frisbee. Because of us, food is all about having fun. And fun is all about letting food fly.
