For the last 40 years, Alps Welding has been providing custom fabrication services to North Americaês largest design engineers, equipment designers, and plant operators, for their most complex and time-sensitive projects. We fabricate a variety of equipment, including pressure vessels, piping systems, stacks, heat exchangers, blower fan wheels, modular plant and skid-mounted equipment, among others. We have manufactured thousands of registered vessels in our history, and have built an enormous variety of vessels, from small pipe-bodied vessels only a few inches in diameter, up to large flare drums 15 feet in diameter. As a vessel fabricator, we are accustomed to a high level of NDE and other inspection, as well as demanding customer specifications, which has forced us to develop an extensive QA program, audited and accredited as a ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 fabricator. We apply this same quality program to all of our projects, and as a result, have developed a reputation for building highly engineered, high-specification, critical equipment that requires a lot of inspection and testing. Over the years, the scope of our work has expanded, from fabricating vessels, to providing engineering design and detailing, piping fabrication and assembly, installation of electrical and instrumentation parts, structural supports for equipment, insulation, and shipping preparation. We can integrate these activities to fabricate fully modularized or skid-mounted systems, ready to ship for installation at site.
