Colchester Harbour

Located on the north shore of Lake Erie, Colchester Harbour is a busy fishing and boating location. Dubbed the Walleye Capital of Canada in 2007, the harbour also plays host to the Colchester Guardian Rescue, an all-volunteer Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary Search and Rescue unit. During the boating season - May 1st until Thanksgiving weekend - the harbour offers charter, monthly and seasonal dockage for water craft up to 45 feet in length. A Pleasure Craft Operator Card is required to operate power-driven boats and watercraft in Canada. Find out more on our Boating page.
