PGF Biofuels is a division of Paterson GlobalFoods Inc, a family owned International Agri-Food business with over 100 years of history in the Canadian grain industry. PGF Biofuels is focused on the production and marketing of carinata for industrial oilseed markets around the globe. Carinata - commonly known as Ethiopian mustard - is an oilseed crop designed to grow well in marginal soil zones due to its ability to withstand a wide range of growing conditions. PGF Biofuels has partnered with Saskatoon-based Agrisoma Biosciences as the exclusive distributor of Resonance, a carinata variety developed for the Prairies' brown soil zone. PGF Biofuels is able to offer a number of feedstock options through its sister company, Paterson Grain. Through its extensive elevator network across the Canadian Prairies, Paterson Grain can supply a variety of oilseeds and feedstock options to its customers: Canola, Soybean, Palm Oil, vegetable oils, Tallow.
