Edmonds Recycling
Service Provider in Langley, British Columbia
Since 1974, Edmonds Recycling’s parent company - Edmonds Batteries - has offered exceptional customer service at affordable prices. Starting with one small store on Edmonds Street in Burnaby 35 years ago, to having 3 locations throughout the Greater Vancouver area, Edmonds Batteries has become a major player for retail / wholesale sales and service. A 4th location – Edmonds Recycling – has opened recently with the same goals and ideals in mind applying them to a more environmental aspect. Over the past few years we have become one of the largest recyclers of lead acid automotive batteries on the west coast, processing approximately 6 million pounds per year. Also, with many local communities on board, we are now recycling all types of batteries including alkaline, lithium and Nickel-Cadmium. Edmonds Recycling is now also involved in the mercury-containing lamp recycling business. All types of fluorescent lamps, tubes and CFL’s, as well as neon and halogen bulbs are being recycled at our Langley location. We are fully licensed to handle, store and transport batteries and belong to the Recycling Council of British Columbia. OUR VISION: We will have contributed to a cleaner world for generations to come. OUR MISSION: -To support a cleaner environment though the delivery of a dedicated recycling program that meets the needs of our community; -To continue to explore new opportunities for potentially recyclable or reusable materials; -To increase awareness of environmental impact.
