Jude Wong – Writer and Designer

A native of Shawnigan Lake and Duncan BC, Jude spent the majority of her teen and early adult years as a creator and producer of dance in BC and Yukon Territory. She recently returned to the Cowichan Valley with a Certificate of Business Administration, attained in 2011 as a W. Garfield Weston Scholar. During her time as a producer in the arts, she tracked revenues and expenses, developed budgets, created promotional materials, and online outreach. Working as Alchemy Creations and Collaborative Works, Jude is now an independent contractor of graphic design, promotional and clerical services. Her work lies in synergizing words, images and other information into print, online outreach, databases, spreadsheets and other forms of communication. Jude is also a passionate explorer of cultural origins, identity, and expression. This work lives and breathes through her involvement with cultural endeavors and celebrations, non-violent communication, way of council and systemic family constellations work. She also enjoys volunteering for local organizations in the arts, cultural and holistic health sectors.
