Since our family business began, we have built a reputation for delivering premium, well-designed products that get the job done. 

Proudly Australian, our unique, hand-crafted tools and accessories have a rich history. 

It all started when Intech Tools began making quality tools and accessories as a family business in 1980, developing strong relationships with distribution partners. 

In 2008 we purchased a tannery to supply tool belts and bags to a large partner for distribution to most ‘big box’ stores in the USA. That customer wanted us to supply leather tool bags and aprons, and having our own tannery meant that we were able to meet their strict quality requirements. 

Our Australian customer base was also asking for top-end, premium quality work gear, so we launched the BUILDPRO leather tool storage and tool gear brand in 2010 and the BPRO Cordura 1000 D range in 2023.

From cutting the leather to stitching and riveting, all in our tannery, each BUILDPRO and BPRO product is produced by a dedicated craftsperson using world-class materials. 

For our leather products, we use the thickest European cow leather, German rivets, Australian webbing, the best hardware, and the best stitching and manufacturing methods.
