Jacobs Farm - Del Cabo, Inc.

Jacobs Farm began as a small organic family farm on Californias Central Coast, founded by Larry Jacobs and Sandra Belin. In 1986, Jacobs and Belin brought their agricultural experience, knowledge of markets and their vision of social change to rural Baja California, where many farmers were struggling to make ends meet. The Del Cabo farming cooperative was launched with eight farmers. Today, more than 400 farmers work the land that has been with their families for generations, enjoying a much-improved quality of life and providing an environmentally sustainable economic engine for their families and their communities. Our mission is not only to grow great tasting, healthy food, but to grow it in a socially responsible and economically sustainable manner. The Del Cabo business model is unique: we teach and support organic farming methods and sustainable business practices to help communities with small-scale farming operations become prosperous. Providing tools, knowledge, funding and access to international markets, we have helped over 400 farming families and their communities.
