1% for the Planet. Environmental Partner
The 1% for the Planet model comes to life through the partnerships that form between our members and Environmental Partners. Our business members engage directly with approved environmental partners, providing monetary donations, volunteer time, in-kind donations, and other forms of approved promotional support. Thriving partnerships deliver longer-term support and greater impact for everyone involved.
Our Environmental Partners work to advocate, conserve, steward, educate, and activate to create a healthy, vibrant future for our planet. We are committed to building support for the essential work being done by our Environmental Partners within our six core issue areas: climate, food, land, pollution, water, and wildlife.
1% for the Planet-approved Environmental Partners are carefully vetted environmental organizations that are eligible to receive funding from our members. Our Environmental Partner network is always evolving and our team works hard to bring on new, vetted environmental organizations that meet certain criteria and drive real, measurable environmental outcomes. To date, we have worked with thousands of vetted Environmental Partners in over 60 countries in our network.
