Canadian Institute for Energy Training

The Canadian Institute for Energy Training (CIET) offers, since 1996, a wide range of sustainable energy training programs across Canada. It is specialized in high-quality energy management and energy efficiency training and certification programs. CIET is notably the exclusive authorized training provider of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in Canada and offers the Certified Energy Manager (CEM), the Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), the Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and the Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP). CIET is also the exclusive licensee for delivery of the Northwest Energy Efficiency Council (NEEC) Building Operator Certification (BOC) in Canada as well as the lead delivery agent of CanmetENERGY’s Advanced Course on Building Recommissioning. CIET is also partnered with some of Canada’s leading names in sustainable energy to offer more than 20 standardized training programs which can be delivered in French or English anywhere in Canada, either through public or on-site sessions.
