Robert Sukrachand Furniture, Inc.

Robert Sukrachand is an independent designer and furniture maker based in New York City. Since founding his studio in 2013, Robert has combined his background in traditional wood fabrication with an evolving curiosity towards new materials and disciplines. His approach to design seeks to balance craft, functionality, and form. The studio continually explores new ways to further sustainability in furniture production. We are one of the few small scale FSC certified wood fabricators based in New York City, and can produce outcomes that contribute to LEED and Living Building Challenge Certification. We choose to finish our furniture with low and no-VOC wood coatings.
