Kayu Designs™, previously known as Balitono, was established in 1989. Our craft kit division was sold in 2007 to MasterPieces Puzzle Company. Presently, Kayu Designs continue to create beautiful wooden ornaments and magnets. Each ornament and magnet is handcrafted in Indonesia from earth-friendly, plantation-grown wood. For generations, woodcarvers on the mountains of Bali have transformed blocks of fruit wood into enchanting animal sculptures using only chisels and carving knives. Each piece is unique and signed by the artist. Our ornaments and magnets are available at Whole Foods Market stores and select specialty stores. For each hand-crafted ornament that is sold, Kayu Designs makes a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation. Sunglasses can get a little cliché. Large, oversized frames. Check.
