In the summer of 2007, just after my son was born, I realized that it was impossible to find a stylish online birth announcement. Being a designer, I wanted something chic and fun and there just wasnt anything out there like what I imagined. With some programming help from a friend, I designed and built a small baby announcement website myself. It included birth details, photos and a simple guestbook that let friends and family send my husband and me notes via email. Like you might expect, we received lots of congratulations, but I was struck by how many people commented on the website itself. People just loved it. After thinking more about it I realized that I needed to create a service to give other parents the same thing for their new arrivals. Voil! NurseryNotice.com was born! Greens the new color for baby! Helping the planet has always been a passion of mine and when I founded NurseryNotice.com I made it as green as I could.
