Never interested in copying what others do, we have maintained our passion for providing unique, great tasting coffees roasted with quality and originality. We are still roasting coffee with the same passion and enthusiasm originating over 25 years ago when we started our first roastery/cafe in Sonoma county. The area's gourmet community quickly took notice and soon our coffees were being served in the finest restaurants, wineries, inns and cafes of the Napa valley and surrounding wine country, where quality was not only expected, but demanded. After years of success and the wholesale business thriving, it was time for our founder Bill Coleman to return to his native San Diego roots, bringing with him his talent, experience and signature artisan San Francisco style of roasting. West Coast Coffee Roasters opened its doors in 1992, ready to make our mark on the fledgling gourmet coffee community in our hometown. Focused on providing our wholesale customers with something unique, our specialty coffees and distinctive roasting style quickly gained a loyal following. We are very proud of the fact that many of our current customers have been with us since the beginning. Our goal is to carry on the tradition of producing artisan quality coffee and to offer a complement of products whose quality and originality matches our own philosophy of excellence, while providing caring, reliable, personalized service.
