Kalyon PV, a product of this principle approach of Kalyon Holding, has been established to meet the increasing energy needs of the future generations with the each year increasing population in Türkiye and in the world.

Kalyon Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Technologies Factory (Kalyon PV), which is the first investment in solar power of Kalyon Holding, which has signed the leading Photovoltaic Panel Factory and Solar Power Plant investments not only in Türkiye but also in the world in the field of solar energy, has initiated its operations on the date of August 19, 2020.

Kalyon PV, located on an area of 250 thousand square meters, 100 thousand of which is indoor space, possessing a vertically integrated production system, consists of 4 factories and an R&D center in total. With this feature, it bears the title of being the first and only integrated facility in the world. The factory, which provides continuous production in shifts with a capacity of 2 GW (Gigawatt) in ingot, wafer, cell and module (/panel) factories, produces its products with a domesticity rate of over 80%.

Aside from its R&D Center, which includes over 100 researches specialized in solar technologies, Kalyon PV also provides employment to more than 2000 people.

It continues its operations as the panel provider of the Kalyon Karapınar Solar Power Plant, which, being established on a single land, is currently the largest power plant in Europe and will be one of the few leading ones in the world when completed, in respect of size.
