Our story has been developing for almost 90 years. So has our design, manufacturing and service expertise. We have developed a library of more than 5,000 moulding profiles and the internal capability to create custom profiles to help you design a one-of-a-kind experience. And we are continuously learning, evaluating and improving to stay ahead of the curve. We know that if we do not make responsible decisions on sourcing and manufacturing today, they will be hurdles for us in the future. That is why we focus on everything from the lumber we source to the completed project to create more sustainable products. We take care of the natural resources that are the core of our products, business and success. When you choose Metrie, you can be sure that all of our products are manufactured in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. Each of our eight manufacturing facilities is located in the heart of the fiber source and is chain of custody certified by the Forest Stewardship Council™ (FSC®). Harvesting wood locally minimizes emissions from transportation and shipping, while ensuring that the wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests. In addition, our mills work diligently to make sure that waste is virtually eliminated during the manufacturing process. With our precise equipment and superior wood quality, we maximize the output of each piece of wood, leaving only scraps that are then collected and transformed into products such as mulch, plant cover and animal bedding.
